Denise Smith is a nationally recognized Tax Strategist, Financial Educator, and purpose-driven entrepreneur who has been transforming financial lives since entering the tax industry in 2016. 

With nearly a decade of experience, she has become widely known for her precision, integrity, and ability to simplify even the most complex tax or financial situations with clarity and confidence. After gaining extensive professional experience—including earning IRS-recognized certifications through TurboTax Live and serving with Military One-Source, where she supported challenging military tax scenarios such as PCS transitions, combat-zone pay considerations, and multi-state filings—Denise launched her own firm in 2019. Her work eventually expanded into what is now Tax Service Live, a premium tax and financial services company known for its concierge-level approach and client-centered results. 

Today, Denise leads Tax Service Live as the Founder and Lead Tax Strategist, overseeing every facet of the client experience. She ensures that each return is reviewed for accuracy, compliance, and strategic advantages that maximize refunds and strengthen her clients’ long-term financial foundations. 

Her trained team handles the tax preparation process, while Denise personally oversees review, strategy, and transmission—bringing a high-level, quality-driven standard to every return. Through the Tax Service Live Academy, she trains new tax professionals using the same strategies that shaped her own success, empowering others to build sustainable income, recession-proof careers, and future-focused businesses.
